Overview

Lurk AI is an AI-native financial technology company that builds software to help prediction traders win. As a Research Engineering Intern, you'll help design and develop AI models to power functionality across the Lurk platform.

What You'll Do

  • Write clean, maintainable, & well-tested code.
  • Build & design software for the Lurk platform/API.
  • Develop core architecture for real-time systems.
  • Improve platform/API performance for our traders.
  • Optimize db queries for low-latency performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in modern Python & C++ development.
  • Experience with distributed & real-time systems.
  • Currently enrolled in Georgia Tech's CS program.
  • Living in Atlanta, GA or close to Atlanta Metro Area.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate (by role).
  • Fully remote (local to Atlanta, Georgia).
  • Part-time, allowing you to manage your classes.
  • $75/wk stipend (DoorDash, UberEats, Instacart).
  • Complimentary $500/m sub to use our software.

Our Hiring Process

1. Video Call

A (15 min) video call with the founder, Rawn, to further dicuss the opportunity.

2. Paid Trial

A (30 min) $15 paid collaborative trial where you'll work with Rawn to fix a previously resolved bug.

3. Final Decision

The entire process is meant to require under 1 hour of your total time commitment to reach a decision.
